Provide a helping hand
St. Vincent de Paul Society is a charity organization of the Catholic Church. We assist residents of Columbia, Missouri mostly with rent and utility bills but all assistance requests are considered. If you are low-income and in need of assistance, call our helpline at 573-424-1022 on Mondays or Wednesdays from 8:30 to 9:30 am, follow the recorded directions, and leave a message. If we can assist, one of our phone volunteers will return your call.
St. Vincent de Paul Society is a tax-exempt charitable organization. Our funds come entirely from donations.
Volunteer
St. Vincent de Paul Society members are all volunteers. Some return helpline messages using their home computer. Some do home visits as part of a team. Some serve meals at Loaves and Fishes program in Columbia. Vincentians pray with each other and with those whom we serve. We always need volunteers who have a heart for the poor.
